Si Burr aka Floored Capri is a DJ, producer and radio host from the south of England. Nurturing a lifelong obsession with percussive, system ready sounds his World Beats programmes showcase music from every corner of the globe exploring the full timeline of electronic music and street sounds.

"I tried to give a really honest flavour of where I’m at right now with this selection. From the fuzzy electro funk of Western Africa to the disco infused reggae and rapso of the Caribbean then back to the dance floors of London, and Soul II Soul tearing the roof off the Africa Centre back in the day. The mix takes in a load of these older influences and I’ve included music from some of my favourite contemporary artists too like Wolf Müller, K.O.G, Androo, Al Dobson Jr & Oreku. It’s what I’ve always tried to do both on the radio and in my dj sets, strike the balance between modern and vintage sounds. Standing them shoulder to shoulder, and blending them together to see how the newer stuff holds up! It’s what I love to do and I had a lot of fun laying down this mix."
